Meet the Tiny Tails Pet Care Team!
Tiny Tails has grown slowly compared to many pet care companies. That is entirely by design.
As demand for our services increased, I promised myself that I would never hire simply because I needed coverage. Every person who joins the Tiny Tails team is someone I would trust with my own pets and feel completely comfortable sending into my clients' homes. Finding the right people takes time but I will always value trust and consistency above rapid growth.
Meet Alex
Before working with pets professionally, I spent over 15 years caring for children. With kids, behavior was my bread and butter… my goal was always helping to raise confident, independent and resourceful kids and understanding why certain behaviors happened. It's no surprise that I eventually fell headfirst into the world of dog behavior.
My greatest teacher was my own dog; a small, spicy little rescue with big feelings. Fear aggression, resource guarding, anxiety. She’d bite you if you even looked at her wrong while she was guarding a stolen bagel.
It was frustrating at first… and then sparked an obsession with learning everything I could about dog body language, behavior, enrichment, and positive training methods. I learned that behavior is communication and that the dogs struggling the most often need the most patience and understanding.
That passion eventually led me to work at a grooming salon, where I realized that no matter what the day looked like, if animals were involved, I was actually excited to go to work.
From there, I began apprenticing under a professional trainer and then took the leap and started Tiny Tails Pet Care.
Today, my favorite dogs are often the ones that others find challenging. The anxious dogs, the sensitive cats. As an anxious pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. My own pets are my family. I could not love them any more than I do, and I will care for your animals with that same level of care that I do for mine.
Meet Maggie
Maggie has spent her entire life surrounded by animals. Growing up in a home affectionately known as "the zoo," she gained hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and fish.
Before joining Tiny Tails, Maggie worked as a nurse for nearly a decade, developing exceptional caregiving skills, attention to detail, and experience administering medications. She is comfortable caring for senior pets and animals that require a higher level of support or medical attention.
Maggie's empathetic nature is what ultimately drew her to professional pet care. She believes every animal deserves individualized attention, patience, and genuine affection, and she takes pride in building trusting relationships with both pets and their owners.
When she's not caring for animals, Maggie enjoys gardening, biking, and spending time outdoors. She currently shares her home with one dog, two cats, and a tarantula, and treats every pet in her care like part of the family.
